Jeremiah Moyers

Rotary Wing Pilot

Mr. Moyers began his aviation career in 2003 when he joined the West Virginia Army National Guard.  Mr. Moyers worked as a helicopter mechanic and a Blackhawk crew chief before attending military flight school in 2010.  During his military service, Mr. Moyers became a Warrant Officer and Blackhawk Helicopter Pilot.  He served four deployments to locations including Afghanistan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Syria, and Iraq.

In his civilian career, Mr. Moyers worked as an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic for Air Evac Life-team from 2010 to 2016.  He was a Professional Fire Fighter/EMT with the City of Parkersburg from 2016 to 2023.  In the Spring of 2023, Mr. Moyers accepted the position of Rotary Wing Pilot with the West Virginia State Aviation Division.

During his time with the State of West Virginia, Mr. Moyers has become qualified flying the Bell 206 & Bell 407 helicopters. Mr. Moyers enjoys flying missions around the beautiful State of West Virginia.  Mr. Moyers is also able to assist our maintenance department and remains a current A & P Mechanic.  In the Fall of 2024, Mr. Moyers was appointed as the Aviation Division Safety Officer.  He conducts quarterly safety meetings and does safety inspections in our hangar.
